Miro Leopardi, italian from Roma came to Brazil in 1976 to research about our fish from our coast with intention to export them to Italy. He fell in love with Búzios, where he met his wife and business partner Marly. They opened Brasfish in Cabo Frio, a fishing and export company of fresh fish to Europe and USA. Taking advantage of the quality and the abundance of fish they decided to open a restaurant. That was the Satyricon 1 in Búzios with the specialty in Mediterranean and Seafood Cuisine in 1983. Taking advantage of the success they went to Rio de Janeiro where in 1986 they had the grand opening of the Satyricon in Ipanema, today a 5 stars restaurant known and visited by the great stars of the music and film famous world wide like: Sting, Paul Simon, George Michael, Mick Jagger, Nureyev, Shirley Maclaine, Pelé, Michael Schumacher and even Madonna in 1993 loved the " Pargo al Sal Grosso". Local stars, politics and diplomats from the whole world, all of them come for the wonder full Satyricon food, famous for the variety of fresh fish and seafood, pastas, rissottos, carpaccios of fish and sushi. Satyricon was inspired on the book of Petronio Arbitro, kind of social columnist of the orgastic feasts in the times of Nero, roman emperor. This funny stories narrated by Satyr, an entity from the greek and roman mythology half man half goat.

Leaned over on the Guanabara Bay, the sight invites you to taste the fish and seafood of the menu. The most asked dish is the "parrillada" for two people, that combines some fish, seafood and shellfishes."Terraço Polinésio" is an air conditioned room were seafood and traditional Spanish, Brazilian and international food are served. With background music and string orchestra.
The "Salão Nobre" offers a marvellous view to the Guanabara Bay, and the "Salão Anexo" a room with a dance floor for great events.
